
- 1 lb ground turkey (or chicken, ground beef, ground lamb)
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 10-14oz can of your favorite veggies
- 3 cups mashed potatoes
- Combine first 3 ingredients in skillet. Fry until brown. Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
- Combine water and bouillon cube, stir till dissolved. Pour over turkey mixture. Stir until boiling and thickened.
- Spread in 1 1/2 quart(1.5L) casserole dish. Open and drain can of veggies and spread onto of meat mixture. Cover with potatoes. Bale uncovered in 350F oven for 30 minutes.
Varation: Mix 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese into potatoes.
