Shephard's Pie

--------------------Ingredient -------------
  • 1 lb ground turkey (or chicken, ground beef, ground lamb)
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 10-14oz can of your favorite veggies
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes
------------------Preparation Method--------------------------
  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in skillet. Fry until brown. Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
  2. Combine water and bouillon cube, stir till dissolved. Pour over turkey mixture. Stir until boiling and thickened.
  3. Spread in 1 1/2 quart(1.5L) casserole dish. Open and drain can of veggies and spread onto of meat mixture. Cover with potatoes. Bale uncovered in 350F oven for 30 minutes.
Serves .

Varation: Mix 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese into potatoes.
